Great second chance at first love！！I’m very impressed with the sweetness of this romance。 A couple who never stopped loving each other but let miscommunication come between them finds their way back to each other。 I loved the sparks and the dialogue and of course the sweet children who played a part in the romance。 I highly recommend this to everyone from high school students to grandparents because it’s a great reminder that love is worth fighting for。

Painful， Poignant， and Fabulous Jack and Josephine’s story made my eyes leak more than several times。 While it’s “just a story” some of the feelings and fears Josephine had over the years struck home in a very real way。 Jacks point of view made me realize things as well。It shouldn’t be amazing how God works everything out for good， but there is always the sense of thankfulness and awe that he does。 Especially in ways we can’t expect or understand。 This story reinforces that from Haven and Jeremi Painful， Poignant， and Fabulous Jack and Josephine’s story made my eyes leak more than several times。 While it’s “just a story” some of the feelings and fears Josephine had over the years struck home in a very real way。 Jacks point of view made me realize things as well。It shouldn’t be amazing how God works everything out for good， but there is always the sense of thankfulness and awe that he does。 Especially in ways we can’t expect or understand。 This story reinforces that from Haven and Jeremiah to Jack and Josephine。Jack may just give Pete a challenge as the best book boyfriend EVAH！ 。。。more

Who doesn’t love a clean romance？ High school sweethearts got married and years later get divorced。 They meet up again， 20 years after， and reconnect。 The spark was always there between them; God and love brought them together again。I just wished the book gave more background on the main characters。

I had an ARC for this book， but this is my voluntary and honest opinion。 When Josephine Gilbert has a brain aneurism repaired she never expected her ex-husband Jack to leave his job as medic on an oil rig across the world and come to help take care of her。 They had divorced when his job took him far away and they grew apart but neither stopped loving the other。 The plot of this book shows compromise， communication and dedication。 It’s a great addition to this series and a must read。
